Classic French cuisine moderately price and simply good, with awesome classic desserts and the plus is there wine list, look for their reserve list where you will find amazing back vintages with probably the smallest mark up in the city

This sounds like a great place to eat (and drink)! Do you have a recommended dish I should try?

I'm very keen on places where you have the choice of wine like you would have choices of whisky in a whisky bar, this is what Racines NY is about. The wine list is supported by the strong and innovative French cuisine of Chef Frederic Duca based on market availability. Arnaud (owner-sommelier) aims at offering biodynamic or natural wines from France and also rare old vintages at great value. The bartender and staff are very knowledgeable, and they are happy to sample the great selection of wine by the glass.Dinner only.

Hi Vincent, I will definetely go for the Ajo Blanco to start or the Buratta, then the seared scallops or the cod.

Have you ever experienced live music with mediterranean eats and your favourite wine at the same place? This is what City winery NYC brings to you: the best spot to enjoy your favorite artist's music, a wine bar, a concert venue with wines from all around the world and also locally sourced. The wine list offers some gems at reasonable prices and also old vintages of great names. It is also the only fully functionning winery in Manhathan...

Alta is a dimly-lit Spanish tapas restaurant and wine bar with plenty of solid wines in the $40-50 dollar range, and some great older-vintage Tuscan and Piedmont wines in the $80-100 if you're looking to spend a bit more. If you're really looking to splurge they are well known for their vintage riojas that stretch back several decades and that you can often find below retail in the $100-200 range. The riojas are some of the best values you'll find for vintages that date back that far.

These guys make sure to always have fun and interesting wines on their ever-changing list. The prices are super reasonable, the food is delicious and if you aren't in the mood for wine they have a great bar and beer selection as well.

The wine selection also isn't limited to just one place, the selection is universal and you will rarely find the regular suspects on the list.
