Cheap eats to fine dining and everything in between
The frying pan is one of my favorite summertime destinations, period. It's the perfect place to drink a few beers with friends and enjoy the water since the bar is located on the deck of an old boat docked along Manhattan's west shoreline. It's a novel bar experience and a lot of fun, and though the drinks aren't cheap here, you can still get a decent deal when you buy a bucket of coronas.

Located on Pier 25 off the Hudson River, this oyster bar on a boat is a great place to get some sun, a bit of breeze, and a cold drink with a lobster roll and some oysters. Because you should enjoy all of those things at Grand Banks! They're open from 3pm on but if you go on Friday, they're open from 11am on and less crowded... so a great time to go before the crowds!

If you like it then you shoulda put sriracha on it
Beautiful photo! Love being out on the water.
This place is great for groups of friends, a date or even an afternoon with yourself! A great space on a boat on the Hudson, Grand Banks provides a fun atmosphere with great cocktails, a cool crowd and decent food! Go early or later though, as it fills up quickly and there may be a line.
Yes good tip...this place can get really packed. It's the only drawback because I otherwise love taking friends here.

The Pod rooftop lounge is only open during the summer, and it's a nice casual spot to meet up with friends or a small group. Just by virtue of being a relatively small space, it can get a bit packed during after work happy hour and on the weekends, so you may want to call ahead to see if they have space. They also serve food from Salvation Taco down on the ground floor so it's a good option if you are also looking for light bites.
