This is a bagel shop first and foremost, but they've added a bacon and egg sandwich in the last few years and its amazing. The eggs are cooked over medium (a little past the point of being fluffy) and topped with cheddar cheese and thick slices of bacon. They also offer an egg, avacado and tomato option which I hear is quite good, but I'm always going with the BEC.

Everything about Murray's Cheese Shop is wonderful, and going there is an experience in an of itself. The fact that they have a great breakfast sandwich is just icing on the cake. It's a pretty straightforward sandwich served on an english muffin with eggs, crispy bacon and gooey fontina cheese. This sandwich is just one more reason to stop by the cheese shop.
Delicious buttermilks biscuits and a choice of toppings (avacado, bacon, sausage are my favorites) to go along with fluffy scrambled eggs. This is one of the best breakfast sandwich + coffee combos in the city.

I just tried this place the other day. The sandwich was so good, I had to buy a second!
I'm on a seefood diet. I see food, and I eat it.
I like to come here for brunch on weekends, and I've really liked their BEC. Their egg dishes are made with well-sourced eggs and cheeses and delicious house-made sauces. Their other food is great too, and if you're a bit hungrier, try the fried chicken!
One can not think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.
This biscuit joint open 24/7 is a great place to grab a delicious breakfast.. early or late in the day. Their scotch egg biscuit sandwich is absolutely delicious - an amazingly decadent soft-boiled egg covered in sausage and freshly fried and perfect on a biscuit with honey and mustard.

Let me start with the eggs which are scrambled perfectly soft, then topped with one of my favorite cheeses of all time the creamy, rich Cabot clothbound cheddar. Then they add two strips of thick and salty smokehouse bacon, a flurry of fresh arugula and stuff it all inside a buttery toasted ciabatta roll from Balthazar Bakery. OMG...words can't describe how delicious this sandwich is.
Outside of the phenomenal egg sandwich here, this is hands down one of the best sandwich shops in the entire city. Stephanie's description of the egg sandwich was spot on...the fluffy eggs and toasted ciabatta roll really set this breakfast sandwich apart.

Some of my native-NYC brethren may shun me for saying this, but sometimes I actually look forward to walking through Grand Central or Terminal 4 at JFK because of the Shake Shacks there. Their breakfast sandwiches are really good, and only available at these two locations. I really like the pork sausage sandwich, but you can't go wrong with a classic BEC.

While this small bakery hit national (and worldwide) headlines for their Cronut, their other offerings are equally as (if not more than) delicious. Their Perfect Egg Sandwich is just that - perfect! The small, buttery brioche bun holds a small bit of lovely creamy steamed eggs topped by a bit of melted Gruyère cheese. Made to order, and they do run out, so definitely come earlier rather than later.
