Midwest girl, love to cook and dine out in NYC!
This UK inspired bar is almost always packed from wall-to-wall with people. So, why would I recommend such a popular place to host a birthday party? Well, first and foremost, they take reservations weeks in advance for tables. If you need something bigger, they have a party room in the back that can hold upwards of 30 party-goers, but this should be reserved far in advance. Secondly, this bar is known for its extensive collection of gin and utterly divine cocktails infused with botanical accents. The bar also offers a great selection of beer, including the famed Pilsner Urquell. Underpriced for a place off Union Square, this is a great spot for your to celebrate. Dance music blasts from the speakers as the night progresses, adding to the party atmosphere.

I had my 21st birthday here. The servers were more than accommodating and very quick to serve my large party. You must make a reservation if you want a table, though. That's a must!
