My favorite bar in Manhattan, hands down. Great location in the west village that's usually buzzing with good vibes on the nights and weekends. They have ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, foosball and live jazz to keep you entertained.

Ace is one my favorite bars in the east village and has a great crowd on both weeknights and weekends. It can get a bit packed on weekends if you get there past 11. They have pool, darts, ski ball and pinball machines as well as a large lounge area with tables. I always end up meeting interesting people here so it's a spot I frequent.

The name of this place says it all. It's a bar with dozens of classic arcade video games from the last few decades that you can play for a quarter a pop. This is a serious trip down memory lane; I almost lost my mind when I saw they had Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

They also have awesome cocktails! The Brooklyn Mule (spin on Moscow Mule) is so refreshing and delicious.

The lines can sometimes get a little long if you come here in the middle of the day during the summer but it's always a fun and high-energy venue for day drinking. They also have two ping pong tables that usually don't have much of a wait.

I found out recently that Spin is owned by Susan Sarandon, who is apparently a huge ping pong nut. Who would've figured? She's definitely done a nice job with this place as it's a fun atmosphere that often features games between some of the great ping pong players of NYC. There's definitely some next level ping pong action here but plenty of tables available for amateurs like myself as well.

They have a stash of board games you can play anytime, but the real fun is Wednesday's at 9 when they have trivia night. You compete in teams and its a fun mix of people who take it semi-seriously along with others who are drunk and write hilarious and sometimes offensive answers (all of which get read by the MC). This is a great spot to have fun with a group of friends.

Slate has a great happy hour and an entire downstairs filled with ping pong, pool and foosball. This is definitely a lounge atmosphere with loud-ish music, but it's generally a good time. It's one of my go-to spots to bring coworkers for happy hour after work.

Amsterdam Billiards is perfectly located just off of Union Square. With billiards, ping pong, darts and even beer pong, Amsterdam is a great places for a night out with friends or even a corporate party (in case you were looking for a company party spot). Amsterdam has been featured on a number of shows and is (thankfully) open every day of the year! I highly recommend making reservations, as the bar can fill up quickly, but there's a two hour minimum dedication to book a table. Or, if you're in the mood for something more long-term, Amsterdam offers a billiards league.
